Mosman is located In the Lower North Shore region of Sydney, New South Wales. The locality is the administrative centre of its eponymous Local Government Area of the Municipality of Mosman. The name ‘Mosman’ is named for Archibald and George Mosman, who first moved into the area in th 1830s.
